We design our app to avoid the fake review problem that is rampant on larger e-commerce platforms. Our team has solved many of these problems for our upcoming soft launch, but the real challenge is the fact that we’re a UGC shopping platform. JC: “Building a video shopping app is incredibly challenging because of the sheer amount of functionality including recording and playing mobile video smoothly, being able to navigate across many different videos and products elegantly, and being able to securely and conveniently save and purchase items that you like. IB: What would you say was the most difficult part about building a shoppable app? How was this database of products developed? We believe an Internet company that helps people discover their taste and earn a living can bring people closer together.” Secondly, in this tough economic climate of unemployment at record levels, creatives are not getting paid their fair share of the Internet economy. First, shoppers are compromising their sense of individuality as shopping is driven by too much ad targeting rather than taste. In order to reach this vision, I set out to solve two core problems in the Internet economy today. ![]()
